Survey Installation through MS Windows Web Application Gallery

Great news for the Survey Project webapplication!

As of today (4th Aug. 2011) the Survey tool has been added to the Windows Web App Gallery at:

http://www.microsoft.com/web/gallery/surveyproject.aspx

You can download and automatically install the Survey tool from this Microsoft website.
Any additional software you may need to run the Survey application (like IIS, Sqlserver, .NET 4) will be checked for and offered for installation during the process.

The Survey tool can also be found as one of the available applications through the Web Platform Installer 3.0.
The WPI is both available as a standalone application and as part of the IIS Manager.

With these changes it is no longer necessary to make use of the custom xml feed. We will keep it available for those who want to try and experiment with this option.
